Dallas vice | Banana Republic x lfls shoes
When it comes to Summer, you’ve got two choices: dress like a child with flip flops or dress like a man. In my case, I prefer the latter. When faced with this challenge, I at least like to have a blazer on me. It can make an outfit cool and casual, or you can pair it with chinos for a more refined look. Unfortunately, August in Dallas is usually no time for a blazer; my phone is currently telling me the high will be 98 with 75% humidity. Luckily, I knew just the blazer for the job – the khaki cotton-stretch suit would keep me looking sharp while staying cool.
In this heat, you need a solid pair of shoes to bring the outfit together – that’s where my friend Eric Jones comes in with his killer line of shoes from LFLS products. With the lighter colors of the suit you should go bold with the shoes, as you can see with the Bachman, which is a unique suede loafer with a subtle tassel detail (available in red and black); you could also go with the Abide, which is a double monk strap that has an added fringe detail for effect (you can get it in black leather, tan leather, or black suede). These shoes are custom-designed in the United States with leather outsoles handcrafted in Brazil; you can’t pass these up.
